An established school in Chelmsford is looking for a Science Technician to join its supportive Science Faculty.
This is a great opportunity to play an important role in helping teachers deliver engaging practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
The RoleYou will be responsible for preparing practical resources, maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring lessons can be delivered safely and effectively. Duties will include:
- Preparing apparatus, chemicals and materials for lessons.
- Setting up and clearing away practical activities.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and stock levels.
- Supporting teachers and students during experiments.
- Ensuring safe handling and storage of chemicals.
- Maintaining clean, safe and well-organised laboratories.
The school is looking for someone who is organised, reliable and safety-conscious, with either a science background or relevant practical experience.
