Administrative Assistant
Pay: $26.60/hour
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Work Requirements: Fully onsite, 5 days per week | Background check, credit check, and fingerprinting required
Schedule/Core

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility to work as little as 6 hours per day depending on workload
Duration: 2-6 months+

Company Overview

Growing organization seeking temporary administrative support during a major records digitization project following a recent merger. This role will play an important part in helping convert high volumes of paper files into organized digital records while supporting general office operations.

Role Overview

The Document Scanning / Administrative Assistant will be responsible for scanning, uploading, and filing a large volume of paper records. This person will also assist with other administrative duties as needed and should be comfortable working with office equipment, maintaining accuracy, and handling confidential information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scan and digitize high volumes of paper files
  • Upload electronic files into the appropriate systems
  • Organize and file both physical and digital records
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality throughout the document handling process
  • Operate scanners and other general office equipment efficiently
  • Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed
Ideal Background
  • At least 2 years of office or administrative experience
  • Prior experience with document scanning, filing, or records management strongly preferred
  • Comfortable using scanners and other office equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Able to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
  • Must be able to pass a background check, credit check, and fingerprinting process
