HCLSoftware is seeking a Senior Product Manager II to help shape and execute the product strategy for HCL Leona, HCL Volt MX
. This role is ideal for a product manager who is comfortable operating across AI-powered, low-code, and no-code application development offerings and who can translate market opportunities and customer needs into clear product direction.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product Leadership and work cross-functionally with Engineering, HCL Lab Services, Sales, Marketing, and Customer-facing teams to drive roadmap planning, feature definition, prioritization, and go-to-market readiness. You will play a key role in helping evolve a portfolio that spans AI-assisted application development, enterprise low-code platforms, and no-code workflow and app creation.

Success in this role requires strong product judgment, customer empathy, structured thinking, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to product strategy, planning, and execution for HCL Leona, HCL Volt MX
    .
  • Own and maintain prioritized backlogs across key initiatives using HCL’s product management systems, including Aha! and Jira.
  • Define well-structured product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable effective engineering execution.
  • Partner with customers, prospects, internal stakeholders, and field teams to gather feedback, validate product direction, and identify high-value opportunities.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to inform product strategy, roadmap decisions, and positioning.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Services to support launches, enablement, and adoption.
  • Help evaluate product performance, customer pain points, and business priorities to inform recommendations and drive execution.
  • Represent the product portfolio in customer briefings, webinars, events, and other external or internal forums, as needed.
  • Support day-to-day product management activities including prioritization, issue triage, release readiness, and roadmap communication.
  • Leverage modern AI-enabled tools to improve the speed and quality of product management work, including research, synthesis, documentation, and analysis, while maintaining accountability for accuracy, context, and sound decision-making.

Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise software or platform products.
  • Experience with low-code, no-code, AI-powered application development, cloud platforms, and/or SaaS COTS solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Experience defining product requirements and managing backlogs in close partnership with engineering teams.
  • Experience working across cross-functional organizations, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Services.
  • Familiarity with application development platforms such as HCL Volt MX, Kony Quantum, Mendix, Out Systems
    , or similar products is a plus.
  • Experience in areas such as workflow automation, enterprise integrations, developer platforms, citizen development, or business process applications is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to use new technologies and tools, including AI-based productivity tools, in a thoughtful and effective manner is a plus.
