Position:
Lunch/ Recess Aide
Location:
Harrington Elementary School
Job Goal:
To provide student supervision to maintain a well‑organized, smoothly functioning school environment. Duties include supervising students during recess and lunch periods.
During the lunch period: provide assistance to students in opening lunch materials, cleaning tables, and monitoring social interactions.
At recess: closely monitor students for safety, social interactions and appropriate play.
The successful candidate will be able to work on a team of 8 recess aides to provide a safe and caring environment for all students. At times, assist teachers and other professional personnel in classroom, office, and library with miscellaneous tasks.
Qualifications- High School Diploma
- Experience working with children
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the elementary level
- Experience working with age‑appropriate students in a school setting
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable
Reports to:
School Principal
Work Days: 181‑day work year
Hours per week: 15 hours per week

Salary: $9,904 to $9,904 Per Year
