Chelmsford Public Schools is accepting applications for an Elementary Para educator for the  school year. This role supports elementary school children in general education and special education classrooms, working one‑to‑one, in small groups, or within inclusion classrooms.

• Provide academic support to students.
• Support students socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and physically.
• Assist with toileting as needed.
• Collect data consistently.
• Follow directions and implement accommodations and modifications as directed by teachers and related services.

• Associate's degree or passing the Para educator test.
• Knowledge of various disabilities, school classroom procedures, records maintenance, and special education procedures.
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the elementary school level.
• Experience working with age‑appropriate students in a school setting.
• Ability to build relationships with students and colleagues.

Full‑time

$24,105 per year
