Job Description

The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy for the 2026/2027 school year. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

Position

Community Education – Extended Day Program Supervisor (Extended Day‑Exempt)

Location

Chelmsford Elementary Schools, Parker Middle School, Chelmsford Community Education

Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff and students of the Extended Day Program at their site.
  • Take responsibility for supervision, staffing, ordering supplies, and overall coordination with the Community Education Office.
  • Act as liaison with building principal and parents.
  • Plan and set up hours prior to the start of the school year.
  • Work a minimum of 10‑15 hours per week, September through June, and be on call for emergencies (weather or late pickups).
  • Supervise a shift during February or April vacation.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, communicate, and assume program responsibility.
  • General knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
