Description:

The Elementary Content Interventionist provides targeted academic support to students in all content areas, with a primary focus on reading and mathematics. This position works with small groups of students who need additional instructional support to strengthen foundational skills and meet grade-level expectations. The interventionist collaborates with classroom teachers to identify student needs, monitor progress, and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student growth and success.

• Deliver small-group instruction in reading, math, and other core content areas.
• Provide individualized support to help students build confidence, motivation, and academic skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align instruction and discuss student progress.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement.

Position Type: Part-time

D. Harrington Elementary School is one of four elementary schools within the Chelmsford Public School District. Our school services over 500 students in Kindergarten through grade four. • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (required) Experience in elementary teaching or intervention preferred.
