We are currently seeking an energetic and fun music teacher for our summer program located at Chelmsford Community Education. Our ideal candidate would be able to commit to providing age-appropriate instruction for grades 1-6, including introducing the children to various types of instruments and putting together a small music performance at the end of the week. Candidate must feel comfortable in a classroom environment, with confidence in managing groups of elementary aged students.

• 1. Providing age-appropriate instruction for grades 1-6
• 2. Providing program supervisor with your lesson plan for the week
• 3. Working directly with groups of children
• 4. Setting up and cleaning up your workspace
• 5. Coordinating a short play for students to perform at the end of the week

• High school graduate and minimum age of 18 years required
• A degree in the area of job posting is preferred but not required. However, proof of previous experience will be expected.
• Must be able to pass a CORI check
• Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
• Must be available Monday through Friday during dates posted above
• Must have experience and confidence in managing a classroom of elementary ages students

We have opening for various specialist for our summer program, including a PE/ Recreation instructor, Science/STEM instructor, and Theater instructor. Please be sure to check our other job postings if you are interested and/ or qualified.
