Summer 2026 Extended Year Special Education Program
- Teachers (4 weeks)
Teachers needed at Preschool & Elementary Levels

Dates:
July 6 - July 30, 2026
Program is Monday through Thursday (no programming on Fridays):
Preschool Program -- 7:30 AM to 10:15 AM. (2.75 hrs/day) OR 7:30 AM to 12:15 PM (4.75 hrs/day) plus 1 prep day before the program begins (4 hrs.) Teacher may be asked to work either Monday
- Thursday with shorter hours or two mornings per week with longer hours
Elementary Program -- 7:30 AM to 12:15PM (4.75 hrs/day) plus 1 prep day before the program begins (4 hrs) - classrooms separated by grade level(s)
- - Qualified candidates will provide specialized instruction in the areas of reading, written language and math skills to special education students in order for them to review, practice and maintain previously learned academic skills. Instruction is based on students' IEP goals & objectives.
- - Monitor student progress to maintain skills from IEP goals and write ESY summaries of performance at the end of the session.
- - Plan and maintain a program of instruction individualized to students' IEP goals & objectives
- - Facilitate and support paraprofessionals assigned in the preschool and elementary programs as needed

Job Requirements- - MA DESE certification as a moderate special education teacher preferred
- Ability to work all 4-weeks (16-days) of the program (July 6 - July 30, 2026)
