Long-Term Substitute Supervisor of Students

WORK DAY

HOURS:

7:00am- 2:00pm

JOB DESCRIPTION/GOAL:
The Supervisor of Students is responsible for maintaining an environment that is safe and conducive to learning.

• Experience working with young people.
• Criminal Justice background helpful, but not required.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found to be appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO:

High School Principal

• Monitor students inside and outside of the school building.
• Monitor students at arrival and departure times.
• Traffic monitor
• Ticket cars without passes
• Receive bus incident report from bus drivers and follow up accordingly.
• Monitor students serving in-school suspensions.
• Supervise students in cafeteria.
• Monitor students during after-school activities.
• Tow/Parking Passes to staff and students.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $200 to $200 Per Day

Chelmsford High School is a public high school located in Chelmsford Massachusetts, established in 1927. The school is based on a three-house system. The houses are named after Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and John Whittier, three well-known New England writers. Each house has two to three school counselors, a dean, and an office. All students are assigned a house at the beginning of their freshman year.
