JOB DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team supporting industrial products such as mechanical switches, sensors
, and sealed enclosures.
- Knowledgeable on NEMA/Ingress Protection standards for industrial electro-mechanical devices.
- Proficient in the use of Pro/Engineer (Creo) 3D Solid Modeling CAD system
- Apply NEMA/IP standards
, GD&T, DFM/DFA, and materials knowledge - Lead and support product testing, qualification, and documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex design and manufacturing issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of product design experience (industrial, consumer, or medical, etc)
- Strong CAD skills (Creo), understanding of tooling, plastics, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with SAP, Six Sigma tools, and industry standards (UL/CSA/IEC a plus)
