Job Summary:
RF Engineer - Client, Chelmsford, MA About the Role Join Client, a global leader in security and aerospace, as an RF Engineer at our Chelmsford campus. Become a pivotal contributor to innovative, high-reliability RF module production supporting critical defense applications. Work alongside industry-leading experts in a dynamic environment that blends advanced design with hands-on electronics lab work. Responsibilities - Drive the production and troubleshooting of complex multi-function RF modules from concept through all phases of the product life cycle
- Independently analyze and resolve challenging technical issues, delivering creative and effective solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers, as well as manufacturing and technical support teams
- Utilize RF microwave test equipment and simulation tools for validation, verification, and troubleshooting
- Lead and support failure investigations and root cause analysis within a production environment
- Document technical data, create test specifications, and present findings to internal teams and customers
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and product enhancements in high-reliability applications Required Skills and Experience - Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain, required for start)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant RF engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with hardware and RF/microwave test equipment
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues within production settings
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Preferred Skills - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Defense electronics industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of RF subsystems: antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, mixers, frequency generation/conversion circuits
- Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques
- Expertise in technical documentation and customer interface
