Analog Devices Federal LLC (ADFED), a wholly owned subsidiary of Analog Devices, Inc., is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Quality Engineering to lead its Quality Engineering organization supporting high‑reliability electronics module manufacturing. This role oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), supplier quality strategy, customer quality performance, audit readiness, and compliance for all ADFED programs.
The senior manager will partner closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, program management, and executive leadership to ensure that ADFED meets the highest levels of quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance required for government and aerospace markets. This is a highly visible role, requiring superior technical judgment, leadership presence, and the ability to influence across diverse teams and external partners.
What You’ll Do- Lead the Quality organization; providing strategic direction, mentorship, and technical expertise to a multidisciplinary quality team
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data‑driven decision‑making
- Own and maintain compliance to AS9100, ISO
9001, ANSI/S20.20 ESD - Lead internal and external audits; interface effectively with government customers, auditors, and certification bodies
- Oversee supplier quality performance, corrective actions, AS9102 (FAI) and AS9145 APQP/PPAP requirements for new and existing programs
- Guide root‑cause investigations and use quality tools (Six Sigma, 8D, 5‑Why, FMEA, FTA, Lean) to improve processes
- Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure product quality, process stability, and audit readiness
- Advise executive leadership on quality risks, compliance posture, investment priorities using data‑driven insights
- U.S. Citizen (Security Clearance Required)
- Master's degree in engineering or Bachelor’s with 8+ years of electronics manufacturing experience
- Extensive experience leading quality organizations in the aerospace and defense industry, or other highly regulated, high‑reliability environments
- Demonstrated expertise with MIL‑STD‑883, IPC‑A‑610, ISO
9001, AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, and other applicable government quality standards - ASQ Certified Quality Auditor
- Strong engineering knowledge in machining, manufacturing process flow, and high‑reliability electronics
- Advanced knowledge of quality tools:
Six Sigma, 8D, 5‑Why, FTA, Pareto Analysis, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing - Strong executive communication skills, including experience navigating regulatory interactions in high pressure environments
