Associate Quality Engineer - Chelmsford, MA

You will be the Associate Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

• Develop and execute test plans for manufactured and procured components.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non‑conformances.
• Support root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position requires a secret clearance that must be obtained within a year of starting. The position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 1+ years of professional experience; a STEM related Master’s degree or equivalent education and experience may also be considered.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

• Working knowledge of MES systems.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
• Experience in Six‑Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Discrete and/or Micro‑electronics experience.
• Familiarity with J‑STD‑001/IPC‑A‑610.
• ASQ CQE.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $54,900 – $96,830. In major metropolitan areas: $63,200 – $109,365.
