Civil Transportation Engineer IV

Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a bright and highly motivated Civil Transportation Engineer IV for employment in our Transportation Business Line based out of our Chelmsford office.

• Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Approves and signs off on work.
• Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
• Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
• Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
• Participates in development of technical proposals.
• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

• BA/BS + six years of relevant or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• MA PE or the ability to obtain. Other New England PEs are also beneficial.
• Direct experience on MassDOT Design Build projects as a Roadway Discipline Lead or key contributor to the final design of the project.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads to support projects in New England.
