We're seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our team as an RF Engineering Manager. In this role, you will drive the production of complex multi‑function modules used in high‑reliability applications, leading and collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities- Functional management of the RF Engineering team, guiding staff selection, development, work assignments and performance.
- Driving the production of complex multi‑function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
- Leading investigations to understand complex RF problems and providing innovative and ingenious solutions.
- Acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.
- Mentoring less experienced engineers and collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
- Contributing to, or authoring, proposals and participating in business capture efforts.
- Working with technical and manufacturing support personnel to ensure successful product development and production.

LocationChelmsford, Massachusetts (approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston).
Citizenship & ClearanceMust be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance; a company‑sponsored Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
- Team leadership experience at the project level.
- Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.
- Extensive experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
- Leadership experience at the group level, including staff career management and budgetary management.
- Significant experience in defense electronics industry, architecture development for RF systems, and design of active RF modules, circuits or systems.
- Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience testing microwave products at the RF circuit card assembly, module, or subassembly level.
- Expert knowledge of microwave simulation tools and datalink or T/R module architecture.
- Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, LNAs, HPAs, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and conversion circuits.
- Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques and technical documentation (specifications, schematic drawings, test data).
- Experience with customer interface including technical presentations.
- Hands‑on hardware experience.
- Ability to lead failure investigations on production and/or technical issues.
- Ability to work in a team‑collaborative environment, especially with manufacturing, industrial engineers, and operators on production support.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
