** You will be the Associate Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team  Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control

What You Will Be Doing

As the Associate Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across our product lines, ensuring that every component meets rigorous performance and safety standards

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Develop and execute test plans for manufactured and procured components

Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non‑conformances

Support root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions

Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Bachelors degree in a STEM degree with 1  years of professional experience, no experience required with a STEM related Masters degree or equivalent combined education and experience

Ability to work independently and as a team player

Proficiency in relevant computer applications

This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance within a year of starting, therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens

Skills:

* Working knowledge of MES systems

Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes

Experience in Six Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods

Strong written and oral communication skills

Discrete and/or Micro electronics experience

J STD 001/IPC A 610 familiarization

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $54,900    $96,830  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
