RF Engineer

We are seeking to hire an experienced RF engineering professional at our campus in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This exciting role offers the RF professional an opportunity to be a key contributor on our team of industry‑leading RF design experts.

• Support the production of complex multi‑function modules used in challenging high‑reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle.
• Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are innovative and ingenious.
• Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) plus a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hands‑on hardware.
• Experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
• Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.
• Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low‑noise amplifiers, high‑power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.
• Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
• Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with customer interface including technical presentations.
• Prior RF design experience.
• Ability to lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.
• Ability to work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operator on production support.
