You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving product excellence across the missile and fire control portfolio. You will partner with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to embed quality into every phase.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and execute quality assurance plans for new and existing products.
* Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with specifications.
* Analyze defect data and lead root-cause investigations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM related field some professional experience, no experience required with a STEM related Masters degree or equivalent combined education and experience.

-Strong written and oral communication skills.

-Ability to work independently and as a team player.

-Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

-This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance within a year of starting, therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens. Desired

Skills:

-Working knowledge of MES systems
-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.

-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.

-Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.

-J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990.
