Description
Position Overview
The RF / Microwave Engineer will support the manufacturing of complex, multi-function RF and microwave modules used in demanding, high‑reliability applications. This role focuses on hands-on analysis, troubleshooting, and production support of advanced electronic modules, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation, and frequency conversion circuits.
The engineer will work closely with manufacturing, test, and cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve assembly and test issues, ensure product performance, and support high-quality production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to manufacturing operations to troubleshoot and resolve RF/microwave assembly and test issues.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex RF and microwave circuits, including amplifiers, mixers, switches, and frequency generation/conversion circuits.
Perform testing, tuning, and characterization of microwave circuits to meet product specifications.
Review and interpret technical documentation, including specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, technicians, and manufacturing support personnel.
Support root-cause analysis activities and recommend corrective actions to improve yield, performance, and reliability.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Basic Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance required at time of submittal.
Bachelor's degree in RF / Microwave Engineering or a closely related discipline.
1+ years of professional experience in RF/Microwave Engineering.
1+ years of hands-on experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits.
Working knowledge of RF/microwave test equipment, including:
Network Analyzers
Spectrum Analyzers
Phase Noise Analyzers
Demonstrated ability to review, understand, and apply technical documentation and test data.

This is a Contract position based out of Chelmsford, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $79.00/hr.
