Audio Visual Programmer

MEC Electrical & Technologies, Inc. is looking to add to our Audio-Visual team. Our Assistant AV Designer / Programmer will work closely with our AV Sales Engineer to assist in designing AV solutions for our clients, and be a technical liaison for our installation team.

• Assist the AV Sales Engineer to develop Audiovisual designs, flows, and scope based on client requests and expectations
• Technical Liaison for the installation team on following the scope, developed design, from commissioning and close-out
• Strong communication skills a must, sales experience preferred to work with MEC Clients
• Ability to troubleshoot AV Systems and/or programming files for our clients a plus
• Experience working with Extron GC Pro a must, Creston a plus
• Experience working with Biamp products a must, other Audio DSP systems a plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and line drawings
• Daily updating of Audiovisual documents for creation of post project as-builts
• Excellent communication & organizational skills with the desire to grow in the commercial AV industry
• Familiarity with DTools software a plus, but can train the right individual
• Other duties as assigned

Pay will be based on experience, between $38.00 - $48.00 per hour.

• OSHA 10
• CTS preferred

• 2+ Years of audiovisual or industry related experience preferred
• Ability to lift objects up to 60lbs.
• Ability to work off a ladder or staging
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work overtime as necessary
• Familiar with Crestron products & videoconferencing
