Our systems combine energy storage, power electronics, software, and remote monitoring technologies to deliver reliable power where it matters most.
We're looking for a hands-on Field Service & Operations Specialist to help deploy, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve our systems while supporting customers and internal operations.
Location & Travel- Based in Chelmsford, MA
- Approximately 30% travel throughout the United States
- Travel supports customer deployments, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service activities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and commission energy storage systems
- Travel to customer sites for installation, service, and support
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and video conferencing
- Perform root cause analysis and document findings
- Perform incoming inspections and acceptance testing
- Validate equipment before shipment and deployment
- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and system-level diagnostics
- Perform firmware updates, configuration changes, and validation testing
- Support RMA, repair, and refurbishment activities
- Work with engineering teams to investigate field issues
- Identify recurring failure modes and reliability improvements
- Support testing of new hardware and product enhancements
- Provide feedback that improves product performance and serviceability
- Manage inventory, spare parts, and service equipment
- Help develop scalable service and operational processes
- Technical training, military technical experience, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical systems
- Experience using diagnostic software and tools such as multimeters
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Experience with energy storage systems, power electronics, industrial equipment, telecommunications, renewable energy, or automation systems
- Familiarity with lithium-ion batteries, BMS systems, CAN bus, Modbus, or industrial networking
- Experience with field service, commissioning, quality assurance, or technical operations
- Work directly with advanced energy storage systems
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams
