CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II to support the production of complex electronic, electro-mechanical, cable, and harness assemblies. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and serving as the technical lead for assigned customer programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing engineering experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to translate engineering requirements into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for manufacturing processes involving cable, wire harness, electronic, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, manufacturing documentation, and engineering records.
- Create detailed work instructions, assembly procedures, inspection documentation, and visual work aids.
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, engineering changes, and technical requirements.
- Develop tooling and fixturing solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve yields.
- Develop labor routings and establish production labor standards.
- Support quoting activities through the review of statements of work, quantities, specifications, and special customer requirements.
- Evaluate actual versus estimated production costs and update routings and labor standards accordingly.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Engineering, Production, Quality, Program Management, and customers.
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
- Review engineering packages and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage engineering change implementation and configuration control activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of six years of Manufacturing Engineering experience; ten or more years preferred.
- Experience supporting electronics, electro-mechanical, cable, or wire harness manufacturing operations.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Experience developing labor routings and labor estimates.
- Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, parts lists, wiring diagrams, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
