• Act as a subject‑matter expert in the store for customers and colleagues regarding all products, services, policies, and procedures of TD, especially personal and business banking.
• Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight product features and benefits that support customers through challenging times and life events.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships by consistently displaying product knowledge and actively listening to customer needs.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to proactively assess customers, identify solutions, and lead outbound sales activities.
• Evaluate issues, errors, and problems based on practices and existing procedures, independently resolve customer problems, and escalate when necessary.
• Engage in conversations with customers about loan products, facilitate the application intake, and maintain an active registration status with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
• Perform teller transactions (check cashing, deposits, transfers, withdrawals) while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to operational policies.
• Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities to deliver on the brand promise of an unexpectedly human experience.

• High School diploma or GED required; 2‑year college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity; teller experience preferred.
• Cross‑trained to take customer transactions upon hire.
• Strong customer service, organization, communication, problem‑solving, scheduling, and independent work skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Active registration with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
• Notary license preferred.
