Salary: $39,000 to $45,000 Per Year
Job DescriptionDescription: Provide technical assistance district-wide.
Responsibilities- The computer technician performs computer and peripheral diagnostics and repairs.
- Daily responsibilities include computer repair, installation, configuration, imaging, assembly of computers, monitors and other peripherals, pull/rewire cables as needed for new installations, troubleshooting, and make repairs as needed.
- Serve as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service, and approach all tasks with enthusiasm and the desire to solve problems.
- Assist all users with technology related problems, and respond to user requests in a quick, friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Work experience in technology or customer service field.
- Knowledge of computer hardware.
- Experience with Google applications.
- Windows, Mac, Chrome, Android and iOS knowledge.
- Ability to repair/replace parts on most makes/models of devices or ability to learn device repair.
- Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud‑based applications like Office 365 and Google.
- Configure devices for staff and student use.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues, and work with the network team to solve problems.
- Ability to research for solutions to problems that are not easily solved.
- Ability to change ink and toner and perform some small repairs to printers.
- Certification or training in Google Management highly preferred.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Escalate technology issues beyond the technician scope to the proper technology team member.
- Promote and develop a friendly technology environment in cooperation with the end user.
- Deliver superior customer service to end users.
- Assist end users with one‑to‑one training and advice about technology use.
- Dependability and punctuality required.
- Ability to lift minimum of 75 pounds.
- Be physically and emotionally capable of carrying‑out responsibilities and duties in a busy environment.
- This position requires physical activity such as lifting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, and hand/wrist movement.
- Ability to read routine and complex documents and to use a computer.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by ICTS Service Manager or Network Administrator and the Director of ICTS.
- Technology/Customer Service Experience.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
