** Summary
* * Responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of self-directed services.
The program manager will provide leadership and supervision to the family support specialists. They will provide support as needed to all individuals and families enrolled in these services, will act as a navigator to an identified caseload, and will be a liaison to funding sources.
** Essential Job Functions
*** Hire, supervise, evaluate, and train family support specialists. Address performance issues proactively and in line with agency Policy. Conduct routinely scheduled individual supervisions and team meetings with family support specialists.
* Ensure that family support specialists are operating and implementing services in a manner that are consistent with program guidelines and policies.
* Work collaboratively with team members demonstrating a positive and supportive attitude to all staff, individuals, and their families.
* Act as a navigator to assigned caseload, manage new referrals, and assign them to the appropriate specialist.
* Ensure timely completion of all required paperwork and documentation including but not limited to Charting the Life Course Tools, HCSIS, budgets, family support plans, progress notes, change forms, data collection, billing, and updating files.
* Provide oversight to the development of individual budgets and work in collaboration with the family support specialist to encourage 100% utilization and ensure that supports in place stay within budgeted dollar amounts.
* In collaboration with the family support specialists, recruit, hire, train, assign, counsel, direct, and lead in the process of performance evaluations for skills trainers and therapists hired to work with individuals and families enrolled in self-directed services. Monitor the hours that each work. Responsible for taking the lead in the onboarding process with Human Resources and tracking vacancies.
* Responsible for the management and oversight of data collection.
* Act as liaison to funding sources and meet routinely to ensure satisfaction with service. Work with assistant director and director to resolve any and all conflicts efficiently and effectively.
* Facilitate training for staff, instilling a clear awareness of the agency’s mission and goals while fostering the development of staff.
Maintain customer focus at all times in the delivery of services. Foster an environment which is committed to quality, responsiveness to customer needs, and professionalism in customer relationships.
* Ensure compliance with CARF, DDS, and Incompass Human Services policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Family and Community Services
* Serve as a Mandated Reporter.

** Incumbent must be computer literate and have demonstrated proficiency in the use of email and the Internet. Must have advanced skills in EXCEL, WORD, and Power Point
** Analytical Skills
** Must have demonstrated ability to problem-solve, handle emergencies, meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
** Language Skills
** Mastery of the English language required as demonstrated by the ability to read and write instructions; ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, field journals, financial reports, technical procedures, policy/procedure manuals and government regulations. Ability to comprehend and follow verbal/written instructions. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from Individuals, families, regulatory agencies or the general public.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure sand effectively present information to senior management**.
** Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
