Seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long‑term employment. Shift: Weekend day shift (Full‑time, Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Hours:

5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble electronic components, sub‑assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
  • Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  • Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions and processes.
  • Work with components ranging from microscopic to large, using visual magnification when needed.
  • Use various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters, as well as pneumatic tools such as torque drivers and screwdrivers.
  • Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to learn J‑STD‑001 and/or IPC‑A‑610.
  • Experience with electrical and/or micro‑electronics (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and reputation for punctuality, reliability, and a desire to grow and learn.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $22.00 – $24.00 /hr.
