You will be a Microwave Assembler for our team, responsible for performing fabrication or modification tasks on RF Microwave hybrid microcircuits and sub-assemblies. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products, and we're looking for a skilled professional to join our team. What You Will Be Doing As a Microwave Assembler, your responsibilities will include:
* Installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies
* Performs disassembly, assembly, modification, rework and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology
* Performs the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area
* Plans work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements
* Utilizes measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, drop indicator, etc...) to check parameters during and after work to assure that the unit conforms to specifications
* Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications

Discover more about our Chelmsford, Massachusetts location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
• Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
• Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Skills:

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings.
• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes.
• Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification.
• Use various hand tools (such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters) and pneumatic tools (such as torque drivers, and screwdrivers).
• Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
• Collaborate with teams members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting a Lockheed Martin contract.
