Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, youll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.
What Youll Do :
Test Technician
* Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
* Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
* Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
* Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
* Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
What Were Looking For :
Test Technician
* Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
* Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
* Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Interim Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
