Operations Manager
Description
You will be a Production IPT Lead for Advanced Programs, responsible for coordinating across multiple functions to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Production IPT Lead, you will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the program and serving as the primary liaison between program management and production. You will coordinate across functions to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments while ensuring production supervision can stay focused on leading their people and daily floor execution.
Responsibilities- Lead internal Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to track program performance metrics and drive critical actions
- Coordinate with Test Engineering and Global Supply Chain (GSC) to establish priorities and manage proper execution to schedule
- Analyze and drive cross-functional teams to mitigate technical and process challenges
- Develop program schedule plans and hardware support strategies to ensure completion of Advanced Programs contracts within period of performance
- Manage daily tactical tasks in addition to strategic efforts to move the needle on Production Operations performance
- Communicate effectively across multiple levels internally and with external customers
- Serve as program liaison for facility expansion and capital equipment procurement and installation

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience combined with education
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks and projects in different phases
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written documentation and verbal means
- Experience in manufacturing, program management or engineering environments
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
- Prior production supervision or frontline leadership experience
- Ability to effectively partner with supervisors, understand their operational responsibilities, and help remove barriers without overstepping into direct line management
- Motivational skills and ability to energize teams
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration and problem‑solving skills
- Works with minimal direction, comfortable giving and receiving feedback Security Clearance Requirement
Position requires a government security clearance; candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
LocationThis position is located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
ScheduleWork associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule is 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200 – $189,290. The position is incentive plan eligible.
