Test Technician
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Test Technician in Chelmsford, MA for a 5-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is an onsite, hands-on production role supporting electrical and RF testing of systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
Required Skills- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills (timekeeping, accessing digital work instructions, task confirmations, and data entry)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail with a proven record of reliability and punctuality
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and safe handling of electronic hardware
- Experience with electrical and/or microelectronics testing or assembly
- Familiarity with common electronic measuring instruments and test equipment (manual and automated)
- Basic troubleshooting and re-test experience on electronic assemblies
- Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment
- Execute testing per process/work instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality requirements
- Use measurement instruments and electronic test equipment to validate performance and workmanship
- Document results accurately in test databases, generate reports, and support improvements to test procedures
- Perform basic troubleshooting and re-testing of electronic assemblies as needed
- Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to support throughput and continuous improvement
- Day shift, full-time:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Overtime may be available
