Test Technician
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Test Technician in Chelmsford, MA for a 1-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is an onsite production role focused on electrical and RF testing of systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment. This role is assigned to the Weekend Day shift (Fri–Sun); however, the selected contractor must start and train on 1st shift before transitioning to the weekend shift.

- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills (timekeeping, accessing digital work instructions, task confirmation, and data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and safe handling of electronic hardware
- Experience with electrical and/or microelectronics testing or assembly
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and electronic test equipment (manual and automated)
- Basic troubleshooting and re-test experience on electronic assemblies
- Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment
- Execute work per process/work instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality requirements
- Use measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to validate results and document outcomes
- Enter test data into test databases, generate reports, and support improvements to test procedures
- Perform basic troubleshooting and re-testing of electronic assemblies
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and resolve test issues
- Weekend Day shift, full-time:
Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (overtime may be available) - Training requirement:
Must start and train on 1st shift:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, before moving to the weekend shift
