Quality Control Technician
Join our team in Chelmsford, MA as a Quality Control Technician, supporting high-impact assembly and manufacturing operations on 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 4pm-2:30am). You'll play a crucial role in ensuring top-quality production standards and compliance with industry regulations. Paid first-shift training (6:00am-4:30pm) included.
Conduct comprehensive inspections across all assembly and manufacturing phases, including subcontracted and purchased components. Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, applying advanced math and instrument reading skills. Utilize measuring equipment and perform continuity checks on assemblies and components. Apply workmanship acceptance criteria to monitor and ensure product quality. Accurately document discrepancies and inspection findings in compliance with company protocols. Maintain orderly work spaces and follow safety procedures to protect equipment, material, and personnel.
Perform additional duties as needed to support production goals.
Interim Secret clearance (must be obtained before start). High school diploma or equivalent. 15 years of relevant quality control or inspection experience. Proficient in blueprint reading, wiring diagram interpretation, and measurement tools. Solid understanding of inspection documentation and error reporting. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and maintain a clean work area. Basic personal computing skills.
Cleanroom experience. J-STD-001 and/or IPC-610 certification (active or inactive). Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 standards.
