Machinist
Seeking a machinist for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with machining processes, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, you'll play a key part in operating machines to produce cutting-edge products and systems.

- Location:
Chelmsford, MA - Shift: Day shift, Full-Time (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Starting Salary: $25.00 - $28.00/hour
- Hours:
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with possibility for overtime - PPE
Required:

What You'll Do:
- Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes.
- Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Sets up and operates any type of precision machine tool to make original parts, tools, mechanisms.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
- Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and machine equipment.
- Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
