Test Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Test Technician in Chelmsford, MA for a 1-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is an onsite production role focused on electrical and RF testing of systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment. This role is assigned to 2nd shift; however, the selected contractor must start and train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills (timekeeping, accessing digital work instructions, task confirmation, and data entry)
• Strong attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and safe handling of electronic hardware
• Must be able to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift

• Experience with electrical and/or microelectronics testing or assembly
• Familiarity with measurement instruments and electronic test equipment (manual and automated)
• Basic troubleshooting and re-test experience on electronic assemblies

• Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment
• Execute work per process/work instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality requirements
• Use measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to validate results and document outcomes
• Enter test data into databases, generate reports, and support continuous improvement of test procedures
• Perform basic troubleshooting and re-testing of electronic assemblies
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and resolve test issues

• 2nd shift, full-time:
  Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (overtime may be available)
• Training requirement:
  Must start and train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
