Test Technician

Location:

Chelmsford, MA

Shift: Second Shift, Full-Time (M-TH) 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Hours:

4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Monday through Thursday, with possibility for overtime

Duration: 5 months

Pay Rate: $25/hr.

Start Date:

Immediate

We are seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, you'll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
  • Work from process/work instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  • Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
  • Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
  • Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.
