Test Technician Level 2, Chelmsford, MA (Secret/Ability to Obtain)

Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, you'll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
  • Work from process/work instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  • Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
  • Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

Job Details:

  • Must be US Citizen.
  • Active Secret Clearance Ability to Obtain Interim Secret Clearance at Offer Stage.
  • 4/10 Work Week.
  • 1st Shift;
    Full-Time (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with possibility for Overtime.
  • $24.00/hr.
  • Duration: 8/24/2026-2/26/2027
  • Non-Exempt
  • Contract Position
  • Worker will work Onsite Full Time.

Mandatory:

  • Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
  • Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
