Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) in Chelmsford, MA is looking to hire a Quality Inspector Senior.
Responsibilities- Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods, and in some cases, determine methods and sequences.
- Inspect for proper identity and dimensions using measuring devices such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
- Visually inspect for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
- Verify specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawings or inspection instructions, and checklists.
- Make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.
- Improvise or adapt inspection and measuring devices as needed, monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures, and maintain records of results.
- Microscope visual inspection experience
- At least 2 years of inspection experience
- ESD training and awareness
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and secure an interim Secret clearance prior to starting
- Ability to use inspection hand tools
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Prior experience in the Defense Industry
- SAP Quality Module Experience
- AS9100 Experience
- Mil-883 Experience
- IPC-610 Experience
- J-STD Experience
- Clean Room Experience
- FOD Experience
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
