Lockheed Martin - - Responsibilities:
Inspecting purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods and in some cases may determine methods and sequences;
Inspecting for proper identity and dimensions using measuring devices such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers;
Visually inspecting for defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits;
Verifying specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawings or inspection instructions, and checklists;
Making pass/fail decisions on inspected goods
