Inspectors work to support the RF microelectronics‑manufacturing team by performing inspections of highly complex modules. The role involves a wide range of commodities, including semiconductors, COT parts, machined housings, printed circuit boards, PCBAs, and discretes. Candidates receive training from colleagues and engineering staff and must demonstrate attainment of necessary skills to become a Quality Inspector.
Responsibilities- Visual inspections, including precap, final, MMIC, and wire bond inspections with proper data entry.
- Documentation review.
- Mechanical dimension measurements.
- Accurate reading and interpretation of prints/Source Control Drawings (SCDs).
- Familiarity with MIL‑STDs and IPC standards such as IPC‑A‑610, MIL‑STD‑883 (Methods 2010, 2017, 2009, 2019, 2011, 2023), IPC‑A‑600, and IPC‑A‑610 for printed circuit assembly solder inspection.
- US citizenship.
- High School Diploma.
- Microelectronics training or experience.
- Optical microscopy inspection (majority of time).
- Bond pull/Die Shear gauge experience.
- Go/No‑Go gauge experience.
- Physical requirements:
walking 30%, constant sitting 70%, lifting up to 25 lbs. (floor to waist), lifting up to 10 lbs. (waist to chest), lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (floor to waist). - Experience with SAP ERP systems preferred but not required.
- Experience with EMPOWER Document Control database preferred but not required.
- Internal P10N04 Inspection Procedure training will be provided.
Shift: 8.5 hours, Monday – Friday.

Expected wage range: $23 000 – $32 000, with actual offer varying by location, experience, education, and market data.
- Position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus.
