You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving product excellence across the missile and fire control portfolio. You will partner with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to embed quality into every phase.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute quality assurance plans for new and existing products.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with specifications.
- Analyze defect data and lead root-cause investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability.

Desired skills
-Working knowledge of MES systems
-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
-Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
-J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
-ASQ CQE.
Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
