Associate Quality Engineer
- Chelmsford, MA | Lockheed Martin

You will be the Associate Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. What You Will Be Doing As the Associate Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across our product lines, ensuring that every component meets rigorous performance and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute test plans for manufactured and procured components.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non-conformances.
  • Support root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Desired skills:

  • Working knowledge of MES systems
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
  • Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
  • J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
  • ASQ CQE.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
