Position Summary
As an Account Manager/Business Development Representative you will be responsible for generating new business and sales of high‑end audio‑visual systems. You will collaborate with our engineers and other team members to ensure the seamless delivery of our systems to clients, and work to maintain and expand relationships with the organization’s clients by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities- Business development, cold calling, Internet, and other ways to develop new business.
- Interface with the customer to understand the customer's overall needs, objectives, and requirements to identify solutions and business opportunities.
- Perform site visits to document field conditions (take pictures, verify room dimensions, check above the ceiling).
- Document initial system descriptions and equipment lists submitting to engineers for finalization.
- Develop AV functional diagram sketch of major components.
- Generate proposals, which must include areas of concern, scope of service, schedule, and payment terms.
- Submit sales order package (PO, signed proposal, equipment, list, major contractors, schedule) and attend project meetings as required.
- Manage and oversee proposal content and prepare orders as required.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within an assigned territory.
- Forecast the demand for the product(s) within the assigned territory.
- Serve as a point of escalation for issues or activities that the customer encounters during product utilization.
- Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations.
- Attend networking/industry events.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Experience Required- Associate degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school. - 3‑5 years of low voltage, audio‑video, lighting, and/or shades sales experience in a commercial or residential sales environment.
- Annual quota of $3M.
Travel is required to client sites when necessary and conferences/training events as applicable.
- Proven success in developing clients and has produced multiple millions of dollars in sales annually.
- Self‑motivated, effective oral, and written communication skills.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and associates.
- Good decision making and negotiation skills.
- Competitive, high achiever.
- Work with a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure.

Pay RatePay Rate: $90,000 - $160,000 /yr depending on background and experience.
