Role Description The Counter Sales role at Hajoca Corporation is a full-time, on-site position based in Chelmsford, MA. The individual in this role assists customers at the sales counter by identifying product needs, providing technical and product information, and processing orders and returns accurately. Daily tasks include generating sales quotes, entering orders into the system, coordinating with the warehouse and delivery teams, and ensuring merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.

The role involves handling phone and in-person inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, plumbers, and other trade professionals. This position also supports promotional activities and may participate in product training to better serve customers and contribute to branch sales growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to drive counter sales, meet targets, and support branch revenue goals.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to learn product lines quickly and to share product knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work on-site in Chelmsford, MA and remain standing or moving throughout most of the workday.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing supplies or building materials is preferred; willingness to learn technical product information is essential.
• Comfort with computer-based order entry systems and basic math for pricing, quotes, and inventory checks.
• Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in counter sales, wholesale distribution, or a customer-facing trade environment is beneficial.
