Interior Installation Horticulture Technician

The responsibility of the Interior Installation Horticulture Technician is to work with the installation team in daily deliveries of subtropical and flowering plants to all our clients. This person will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Some of the work includes receiving plants off a truck, caring for those plants before they are installed, cleaning plants, preparing plants and containers for installs, watering extra plants, and keeping areas organized.

• Operate a box truck.
• Adhere to company maintenance inspection procedures, report any issues and all accidents immediately, and respect legal speed limits as posted.
• Understand proper horticultural techniques and demonstrate a willingness to learn from a knowledgeable team.
• Be detail oriented and able to keep on a time schedule.
• Communicate verbally and written to clients and team members.
• Work efficiently both individually and in a team with little supervision, making decisions with own initiative and assuming responsibility for own work.
• Update and utilize customer management systems in daily work, keeping accurate and up‑to‑date records on all accounts.
• Project a “good company image” always with a professional appearance, good hygiene, and a clean uniform to our customers and the public both in and outside of work.
• Ensure work sites are left in better condition than when we entered them, ensuring no dirt, moss or debris is left behind upon completion of service.
• Make quick decisions, problem‑solve in a fast‑paced environment, and maintain strong follow‑through as an ongoing proactive team player.
• Arrive with a positive attitude and be a goal‑oriented self‑starter.

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Experience using standard landscape equipment and tools properly and safely (pruners, pole saw, power shears, and other hand tools).

The employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and frequently lift and/or move up to 20–40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The job involves varied field environment, performing outdoor work with moderate to occasional loud noise, and use of specialized equipment such as lifts and hoists. The employee must be comfortable on ladders with reaching to service and occasionally work on ledges with exposure to heights.
