Repair Technician – First Shift
The Repair Technician is a mid‑level position responsible for performing advanced diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on equipment and devices. The role requires technical expertise, independent work, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while ensuring all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
What You’ll Do- Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues using advanced tools and techniques.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to identify and prevent breakdowns.
- Perform quality control checks; ensure repaired equipment meets safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate repair logs, parts usage, and service reports.
- Communicate repair status, completion times, and additional service needs to customers.
- Train and mentor Repair TechnicianI employees.
- Manage inventory of repair parts, tools, and supplies; order replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflow and meet deadlines.
- Enforce safety protocols; report hazards or concerns to management.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and learn company‑based applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in repair or maintenance preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a repair or technical role with a record of successful repairs.
- Strong technical knowledge of repair tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Proficiency reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced technicians.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Dexterity for handling small parts and tools with precision.
- Experience working in clean‑room environments or repair facilities.
- Proper safety precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
Base Salary Range: $27.64 to $37.39 USD, with additional annual discretionary bonuses based on performance. Pay may vary by geography, skills, education, and experience.
