Apartment Maintenance Technician – Immediate Opening

The Liberty Group is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for an immediate opportunity at a residential community in North Andover.

This position requires previous hands‑on apartment, multifamily, or residential property maintenance experience. We’re looking for someone who can complete common resident service requests and apartment turns with limited supervision.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Completing resident maintenance requests
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in
• Troubleshooting basic plumbing and electrical issues
• Repairing toilets, faucets, drains, outlets, switches, and fixtures
• Completing drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and minor carpentry
• Repairing or replacing locks, hardware, and appliance components
• Assisting with preventive maintenance and property inspections
• Maintaining the appearance and functionality of common areas
• Communicating professionally with residents and onsite staff

What You’ll Need:

• At least one year of apartment, multifamily, or residential property maintenance experience
• Previous experience completing resident work orders and apartment turns
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliances, and general repairs
• Ability to complete routine maintenance tasks independently
• Reliable transportation to North Andover
• Basic hand tools
• Dependable attendance and professional communication
• Ability to begin promptly

EPA or HVAC certification is a plus but is not required unless otherwise discussed during screening.

Applicants whose experience is limited to landscaping, cleaning, warehouse work, or unrelated general labor will not be considered for this specific opening.
