Atrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Chelmsford or Kenmore, MA. Optum is a clinician‑led care organization.
As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities- Hybrid position;
Providing care both in‑office and remotely from your home - Conduct clinical evaluations for patients ages 4 - 24 year olds
- Develop and implement care plans, which include prescribing and regularly evaluating and modifying as appropriate
- Provide consultation to Pediatric Primary Care Providers and other medical staff regarding behavioral health issues
- Refer patients to the appropriate level of care
- PMHNP candidates with current Commonwealth of Massachusetts APRN license and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- MD/DO candidates board certified in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process.
- PMHNP candidates with minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician, with previous experience.

The salary range for this role is $225,000 to $393,500 annually based on full‑time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. United Health Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
