Embedded Software Developer

Our client is looking for an Embedded Software Development Contractor to join a leading medical device company dedicated to saving lives through innovative hardware and software solutions.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES BEING A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO THEIR FACILITYIn this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded Windows applications for life-saving defibrillator products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing software, and ensure compliance with medical device standards. If you have a strong background in embedded C++ development, multi-threaded application design, and debugging, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to life-critical software in a collaborative environment.

You will be tasked with developing applications in an embedded Windows environment, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to implementation and verification. Your daily activities will include coding, testing, and collaborating with hardware, usability, and verification teams to enhance product functionality and reliability.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Required Skills, Education, and

Experience:

4+ years of experience developing embedded C++ applications in a Windows environment6+ years of software design and development experience

Proven ability to work in multi-threaded applications and embedded software systems

Strong debugging and problem-solving skillsBS degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field

Experience with medical device software development is a plus, but not required
