The role involves providing direct nursing care in an 18-bed orthopedic unit specializing in surgical patients, including orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical procedures. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, executing physician and nursing orders, and assisting with discharge planning. The unit emphasizes quick recovery, high-quality care, and strong team collaboration.

• Current RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Key Duties: Ensure patient safety, communicate effectively, coordinate care, and support discharge processes to promote optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
